Diamond Cut alloys
A diamond cut wheel is an alloy wheel which has been put on a lathe and part-of /the entire painted surface of the wheel is machined off to leave a shiny alloy finish. A small part of the actual alloy is machined off to create this finish. It is then lacquered over to prevent corrosion.
At ALLOY FIX LTD this process takes place in house and all work is carried out in our workshops in and around London. For our customers it means no long delays in sending out wheels and waiting for them to come back. Depending on the type of damage, we can even do this process same day.
Powder Coating
Powder coating is an advanced finishing process that creates a tough finish also used by OEM manufacturers. It is extensively used in industrial finishings for a wide range of parts, materials, and products where a decorative and protective coating is required to protect the product from heat, cold, grime, scratching, corrosion or bleaching.
Powder coating provides better performance than wet paint – it is more resistant to chipping, scratching, and other wear because of the thermal bonding it undergoes during curing, and because it can be applied in much thicker layers. In addition to its physical toughness, powder coating provides superior colour retention
