How much does a repair cost?

What services do you provide?
We offer services such as curb repair, buckle removal, powder coating, diamond cutting, full refurbishments and crack repairs.
How long does a repair take?
Typically, our refurb process takes between 2-3 days, depending on the type of repair needed. If there are additional works, this could increase the time
Do you offer mobile repairs?
No, we do not offer mobile repairs as we require a large workshop to operate, as we have equipment like wheel ovens, a sandblaster, chemical strips and a powder coat booth.
Do you provide loan wheels?
Yes, we provide loan wheels for most makes and models.
How long is your warranty?
Yes, we offer a 3-year warranty on our refurbishments due to our high-quality materials and processes. And a 1-year warranty on our crack repairs.
What does your warranty cover?
Our warranty covers defects caused by the factory, such as fading colour, flaking paint, and corrosion. It does not cover damage from impacts or wear and tear
How many times can you diamond-cut a wheel?
A wheel can typically be diamond cut around two to three times throughout its lifespan. Each time the wheel is diamond cut, a thin layer of material is removed to achieve the polished finish. This depends on a few factors, like material thickness and the extent of curb damage.
Can all wheels be diamond-cut?
Not all wheels can be diamond cut. However, it’s best to consult a professional refurbishing service to assess whether your specific wheels are suitable for diamond cutting.

How should I care for my refurbished wheels?
To maintain your wheels, we recommend regular cleaning with non-abrasive products and avoiding harsh chemicals like acid-based cleaners.
Will my wheel look like new after refurbishment?
While we strive to restore wheels to like-new condition, results can vary based on the initial damage.
Here are a few limitations:
Refurb:
Welding dots: with heavy curb damage, alloys need to be welded to be able to diamond cut. As the welds are lathed off, they can leave haziness or a cluster of pinholes
Uneven wheel: Some wheels are refurbished before they come to us. If the diamond cut has been done incorrectly or without fixing the buckle, this can leave an uneven surface.
Pitting: heavily corroded wheels, when refurbished in a bright colour, may have shadows/pitting show through as light reflects better on bright surfaces. We recommend going for a darker colour to hide this; however, this depends on the extent of the corrosion
Last cut: Wheels that have been diamond cut previously or have a low material height from the factory may only have enough material to cut one last time. After this, if the wheels need a refurb, choosing a single colour may be the only option.
Colour match: we provide 100% colour match on some colours, but less on others. Silvers are much harder to match than grey or black. The suppliers we use may have a slight tone difference, and when doing single refurbs, the wheel will look newer compared to the rest, and the colour difference may be more noticeable.
Deburring: This occurs during our diamond cut process. As refurbished wheels get lathed, the edge of the diamond cut that meets the paint may leave cut marks. We can reduce the visibility on this with some colour but not others.
Large areas of damage: when repairing large areas of damage, e.g a chunk missing, we try to get the wheel looking its best. We are limited by the extent of the damage and the available space to sand. This can mean the wheel won’t look perfect.
Glove marks: When moving the wheel while hot, the outer barrel where the tyre sits will have marks from a heat-resistant glove. This gets covered when the tyre goes on.
Diamond cut haziness: Alloys are made of different materials. With some makes and models like Range Rover and Lexus, or specific wheels from other brands and older cars, when the alloys are diamond cut, it leaves a haziness in the metal when exposed to air. So with each
cut, the haziness remains. There is no way to stop this from happening, as it’s a property of the metal.
Repairs:
With our buckle and crack repairs, various marks can occur during the process. This is due to the alloy being clamped in to be worked on and heated to high temperatures to make it malleable enough to straighten. This can result in chips in the alloy from the clamps and hydraulics, yellowing of the paint due to the high temperatures, and paint peeling if they have been painted and not powder-coated previously.
With our crack welding, we leave extra aluminium on the inside of the wheel to strengthen the surrounding areas of the crack. Sanding this down can result in a weakened wheel.
Is alloy wheel refurbishment cheaper than replacement?
Yes, alloy wheel refurbishment is almost always cheaper than replacing your wheels, while restoring them to a like-new finish.
Can you fix dented or buckled alloy wheels?
We can repair most dented or buckled alloy wheels, restoring them to safe driving condition with specialist equipment.
Do you repair diamond-cut alloy wheels?
Yes, we offer professional diamond-cut alloy wheel repairs, restoring the precision-cut finish to look factory fresh.
Can I drive with a buckled alloy wheel before repair?
It’s not recommended, as driving with a buckled alloy wheel can cause vibrations, tyre wear, and potential safety risks.
Can you match the original wheel colour?
Absolutely, we can colour-match your alloy wheels to their original factory shade or create a custom finish if preferred.
